Favorite Season....

Fall. Isn't it just lovely? I love ...
The colors of the leaves
All the pumpkins
Pumpkin Spice Lattes... Mmm
The candles that are the perfect blend of cinnamon and pumpkin scents
The wonderful temperatures.
The weather is perfect for pants and a sweater
The laughs coming from the leave piles.
Ahhh...yes. I love FALL.

Four

Four seems like a lucky number. Wouldn't you agree? Well that's going to be our lucky number. Hopefully. Josh and I have decided to ttc number 4. We're praying that the Guy upstairs agrees. So this will give me something to blog about in itself. People say we're crazy, and maybe we are. But we know that we are meant to have one more and our "little" family will be complete. I can't wait to be sporting a pregnancy belly again. For my last and final time. I enjoyed being pregnant so much with Meredeth. I'm hoping for another wonderful pregnancy. Wish us lots of luck and send lots of baby vibes our way.

I'm a horrible blogger

Duh. Can't you tell. I actually really really want to into this whole thing of blogging but time and life just fall short. I guess if I made a priority to set time for blogging every other day it would work out better.

Jamaica was amazing. It is the most relaxed I have felt since having all the kids. (Tell me that my piggies don't look completely relaxed) I'm not sure if we'll ever go back to Jamaica. Josh wants to go to Alaska and I'm dying to go to Paris and Rome. We want to travel the states, too. So we'll see where our next big adventure will be. I wouldn't mind trying to go to a place we're both dying to see every 5 years to celebrate the two of us. And if every 5 years doesn't work out than maybe every 10. Either way I know eventually Josh and I will see the world and visit all the places we have longed to go to.

The 5.99 deal isn't such a deal

So the kids got together and picked some toys to donate. I decided to take them in the thrift store to let them pick 1 toy to share among all of them. Qwintin found this Animal Shelter House that was 5.99. I thought..ahhh great deal! We get home, get it all unwrapped. BTW- Why in the world did the thrift store wrap this animal shelter in clear tape is beyond me. It was SO much fun to take off. The children initially all giggle and love it. Ten minutes later and everyone is screaming. Sometimes the bargain doesn't end up being such the bargain. Regardless, they love their new toy in between all the yelling, crying, hitting and stealing.

P.S. Taking all three kiddo's out to three separate stores wasn't as bad as I considered it. I still am shocked by the looks I get throughout the stores. That look people give like "She's crazy." I actually consider myself a Saint on most days ;)

Becoming a stronger Christian

There are many goals that I have. One of them is becoming a stronger Christian. I pay very close attention at Church, well 90% of them time, and I take notes to go back through and read. Yesterdays sermon was about restoration and how the woman was the first to sin but was the first to be restored. We can all be restored.

One thing I struggle with is the line between doing what's right and what's wrong. I am planning on joining bible study once I return from our vacation. Let's take gossiping for example. It's a sin to gossip but so many people do it. What is really defined as gossip? I know that if you're in company of a sinner you can't judge them for what they are doing. I don't want to judge anyone and I want to be able to say that I don't gossip. Is gossip telling a friend that her husband is lying to her? Is gossip asking a friend about a situation they were in? I'm confused on what God means by gossip. Is it just talking about rumors or what you've heard about so-in-so?

As you can tell I'm still learning. And this is one of the things that I feel strongly about. I want to fully understand what it means to be a Christian. Not just say, "I'm a Christian." I want to live like a Christian. So, you'll be hearing about how my first bible study goes soon enough :)

5K in a month!

Yes, that's right. I've decided to do my first 5K. I realize it's not an easy task but I'm ready to start my love to run. Have I ever loved to run? No. But, knowing that I'm running for a cause that I feel strong about will really give me the will power to do it.

I'm going to try the couch to 5k program to get me started. I know that the 5K I want to do is only in a month so I might end up walking for some of that run but that isn't going to stop me from doing my first one.

I feel really good about this and I'm getting really excited. Here's the link to my first race http://www.theprrun.com/ It looks like a beautiful course! And the proceeds are going towards domestic violence causes.

I'll keep everyone updated on my couch to 5K training :)

My new goal: Blog regularly

I want to get back into this blogging thing. I think it would be a nice way to look back and remember fond memories. To share with family and friends a little bit of what is going on in our lives. I will admit that I have been failing lately at keeping up with my Internet obligations. Like messages boards and such. I would like to reconnect with the Internet world simply because I enjoy the interaction. So, today is marking day 1 of keeping up with my blog.
